Biography

I have over 20 years of competitive speaking and coaching experience. As a speaker, I have three published orations and have since coached 23 published orations. My coaching experience spans from working with timid high school freshmen to high-ranking government officials. Before my university teaching position, I worked as a communications consultant for the federal government. Additionally, I have worked and volunteered on numerous political campaigns. Working with others to become better speakers is genuinely my passion.

I recently earned my doctorate in Adult & Higher Education. My research focuses on faculty workload equity, fairness, and satisfaction. Additionally, I explore research related to the Introductory Communication Course and Speech and Debate Activities.

I enjoy cooking, fashion, running, and politics in my free time.
