Hobbie to present senior recital

Haley Hobbie, a senior majoring in music education, will present her senior recital at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the South Dakota State University campus.

Haley Hobbie, a senior majoring in music education, will present her senior recital at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the South Dakota State University campus.

The soprano vocalist from Mitchell will perform works by composers Libby Larsen, Richard Strauss, Francis Poulenc, Reynaldo Hahn, Ernest Chausson, Henry Purcell, Adam Gwon, Claude-Michel Schönberg and Jason Howland. She will be assisted by Deb Kalsbeck on piano.

Hobbie’s primary instructor is Anna DeGraff.
