Reynolds, Strawn to present junior recital

South Dakota State University juniors Thomas Reynolds and Ethan Strawn will present a joint vocal recital at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the SDSU campus. Reynolds, a baritone, is a Brookings native majoring in vocal music education. Strawn, a tenor, is from Sioux Falls and is majoring in music education.

South Dakota State University juniors Thomas Reynolds and Ethan Strawn will present a joint vocal recital at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the SDSU campus.

Reynolds, a baritone, is a Brookings native majoring in vocal music education. Strawn, a tenor, is from Sioux Falls and is majoring in music education. Their primary instructor is Andrew Robinette.

The pair will perform works by composers Giovanni Bononcini, Alessandro Scarlatti, Stefano Donaudy, Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gerald Finzi and Frank Bridge.

They will be accompanied by Melanie Timmerman on piano.
