Howard to present senior recital

Josh Howard, a senior majoring in music studies, will present his senior recital at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 3, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the South Dakota State University campus.

Josh Howard, a senior majoring in music studies, will present his senior recital at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 3, in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center’s Founders Recital Hall on the South Dakota State University campus. 

The percussionist from Lincoln, Nebraska, will perform works by composers Michael Burritt, Fransisco Perez, Connor Shafran, Juri Seo and Russell Wharton. He will be assisted by fellow student musicians Jesse Dodd, Teo Nilson and Bobby Traeder. 

Howard’s primary instructor is Aaron Ragsdale, professor of percussion.
