Brookings has a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) established to assist in cases of sexual violence. The team is known as the Eastern Plains Sexual Assault Response Team. The team works to ensure that victims receive immediate, accessible and comprehensive services by local, trained professionals. This is a free resource that anyone in need is encouraged to use.
