Our 12-credit certificate in pre-construction planning will give you the skills to read plans and schematics, prepare bid estimates and track construction projects. You will learn about types and uses of construction materials, building methods, how to estimate material and labor and building subsystems. This certificate open the door to positions with design-build firms, lumberyards, general contractors and specialty trade contractors.
